Bushimaie–Rubi–Tele Additional Conservation Block

The Bushimaie–Rubi–Tele Additional Conservation Block refers to an auxiliary mapped block identified in WWF/PARAP spatial datasets as being ecologically and administratively associated with the Bushimaie Game Reserve and Rubi–Tele Game Reserve. Although not always listed as a standalone reserve, this block is integral to landscape-scale conservation, ensuring habitat continuity, wildlife movement, and watershed integrity between the Kasaï and Uélé–Ituri ecosystems. This additional block is essential for wildlife corridor connectivity between Bushimaie and Rubi–Tele, protection of migration routes for wide-ranging species, forest and savanna transition conservation, and climate resilience and carbon continuity across central–northern DRC.
