You do not need to be able to draw. A creative social is a table, a canvas, an artist who walks you through it step by step, and two hours in which nobody checks their phone very much.

Sessions are led by Congolese artists and built around subjects drawn from here: river light, market colour, Kuba and Kongo pattern, a portrait study, or a free abstract brief. Materials are provided and every guest leaves with the canvas they painted.

It is one of the easiest formats for meeting people — couples, colleagues, newcomers to Kinshasa and visitors mix naturally, and there is usually an opportunity to show finished work at a later Social Club gathering.
