- What is DRCTOURISM Social Club?
- It is a membership community run by DRCTOURISM that organises curated cultural, social, sporting, wellness, travel, artistic and professional experiences in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- Who can join?
- Congolese residents, the Congolese diaspora, international visitors, professionals and entrepreneurs, families and couples, friends of the Congo, and corporate or private groups. Membership applications are reviewed individually.
- What types of experiences are available?
- Golf and networking, Pilates, padel and tennis, weekend escapes, Congolese folklore concerts, acrylic painting socials, Kinshasa nights out, rumba nights, gastronomy, Congo River outings, family activities and business networking.
- Where do Social Club experiences take place?
- Mainly in Kinshasa, with weekend escapes across Kongo Central including Kisantu, Matadi and Moanda, activity in Lubumbashi, and other approved DRCTOURISM destinations.
- Are experiences available in English and French?
- Yes. Hosting and cultural interpretation are provided in French and English, and most hosts also speak Lingala.
- How can visitors register their interest?
- Complete the membership form at /social-club/join. It takes a few minutes and there is no obligation to attend anything.
- Are dates, venues and prices always confirmed in advance?
- We publish a date, venue, price or performer only once it is confirmed. Until then an experience is shown as coming soon and you can register your interest.
- How does the waiting list work?
- When an edition is full you can join the waiting list for that event. If a place is released, waiting-list members are contacted in the order they registered.
- Are private and corporate groups welcome?
- Yes. Most formats can be arranged privately for couples, families, companies and visiting delegations.
- How does DRCTOURISM approach safety and responsible tourism?
- Venues, routes and partners are assessed before an experience is published, guests receive practical briefings and an on-the-ground contact, and we work with operators who employ locally, pay artists properly and present cultural material with the consent of the communities it belongs to.
- How can organisations propose a partnership?
- Write to socialclub@drctourism.com or use the partner page at /social-club/partner-with-us.
- How can I contact the Social Club?
- Write to socialclub@drctourism.com. The team answers in French or English.
