Direct Brussels–Kinshasa (Brussels Airlines, ~8 hrs) or Paris–Kinshasa (Air France) into N'djili International Airport (FIH). Pre-arranged meet-and-greet with an ONT-registered driver clears you through arrivals in 25–40 minutes. Allow 45–90 minutes onward to Gombe business district, depending on time of day.
In Gombe: Pullman Kinshasa Grand Hotel, Fleuve Congo Hotel, Kempinski Fleuve Congo, Hotel Sultani River. All offer executive floors, secure parking, generator backup, wired and Wi-Fi internet, and English-speaking front desk. Lubumbashi: Park Hotel and Hotel Karavia are the standard corporate options.
A tourist visa is not intended for commercial activity. For meetings, market visits or contract signing you should apply for a short-stay business visa (visa d'affaires). For assignments longer than 90 days, a work permit is required. Always confirm current requirements with the DRC embassy in your country — rules change.
4G coverage is strong in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Goma, Bukavu and Matadi via Vodacom, Orange and Airtel. A local SIM (roughly USD 5 with 20 GB data) is easy to buy on arrival with your passport. Business hotels have fibre Wi-Fi. Outside cities, expect 3G at best; consider a satellite messenger for remote sites.
