Days 1–2
Kinshasa departure
City orientation, safety briefing and departure upriver past Pool Malebo.
Days 3–5
Middle Congo
Riverside village stops, local markets and shore walks into forest.
Days 6–8
Mbandaka and the Equator
Provincial capital at the Ruki confluence and an excursion toward Lac Tumba.
Days 9–11
Upriver wilderness
Quieter reaches where the forest closes in; wildlife depends on conditions.
Days 12–14
Kisangani and Boyoma Falls
End of navigation at Boyoma Falls, then a flight back to Kinshasa.
