    The Congo is the reason Kinshasa exists and the fastest way to understand the city. From the water you see the pool, the sandbanks, the fishing pirogues and the skyline of two capitals facing each other.

    River experiences range from a short sunset cruise to a half-day with an island stop, and connect naturally to our weekend escapes downstream toward Kongo Central.

    What participants do

    • Board from an agreed Kinshasa landing point
    • Cruise the pool with commentary on the river, its trade and its ecology
    • Stop at a sandbank or island where conditions allow

    Safety

    River conditions, vessel certification and life-jacket provision are checked before every departure, and trips are cancelled or rescheduled when the river or weather does not allow them.

    Cancellation conditions

    Where an experience is ticketed, the cancellation terms are published on the booking page before payment. If DRCTOURISM postpones or cancels an edition, registered guests are offered a transfer to the next date or a full refund of anything paid.
