Upemba National Park

Upemba National Park is one of the oldest and most mysterious protected areas in the DRC, known for its vast savanna plains, lakes, rivers, and ancient archaeological heritage. The Upemba Depression is one of Central Africa's richest wetland systems. Wildlife includes antelopes, buffalo, historically zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hundreds of bird species, and rare wetland plants.
