Ash Dykes has announced a 700+ km Project 6 kayak journey on the Sangha River, from around Nola in the Central African Republic toward Mossaka in the Republic of Congo. The Sangha is part of the wider Congo Basin; this announced route is not in the DRC. DRCTOURISM references it editorially and does not imply a partnership.

Congo Basin, Congo River and DRC
The Congo Basin is a watershed and ecological region spanning several Central African countries. The Congo River is its defining river system.
The Democratic Republic of Congo is one sovereign country within the basin and holds its largest share. The Republic of Congo is a different country. The Sangha River flows through CAR and the Republic of Congo before joining the wider river system.
