Barrage de Tubi Tubidi – Miabi

The Barrage de Tubi Tubidi is a significant hydroelectric infrastructure project located in Miabi Territory, Kasaï Oriental Province. Built by SACIM in the diamond-rich zone, the dam has an installed capacity of 12 MW, with 3 MW dedicated to electrifying Mbujimayi and surrounding areas. SOGEAC is currently constructing the energy transmission line. This site represents a major opportunity for industrial tourism, offering visitors insights into energy infrastructure, engineering achievements, and national development efforts in the Grand Kasaï region.
